BREAD CHICKEN POLA / BREAD CHICKEN CAKE






INGREDIENTS

Bread slices                     - 10 pieces ( according to the size                                             of the cake / pola )
Milk                                  -3 tbsp
Pepper powder                - 1 tsp
Egg                                  -2 nos
Onion                               -2 nos, sliced
Minced chicken                -half a cup
Turmeric powder              - half tsp
Ginger garlic paste          - 1 tsp
Green chilly                     - 1, chopped
Salt                                  - as per requirement
Coriander leaves             - chopped
Oil
Ghee  
Cashews, Almonds, for decoration

PREPARATION 

  • Heat a pan and when hot add oil. Add sliced onion and saute it until done.
  • Then add chopped green chilly, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and then minced chicken. Add required salt and chopped coriander leaves also. Saute well till done.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Now lets start making the pola / cake. Remove the sides of the bread and set aside.
  • Beat  egg, pepper powder, and milk very well . Add a pinch salt too and set aside in a bowl.
  • Heat the pan again and spread little ghee. Keep the flame very low.
  • Dip each bread slice in the egg batter and line in the fry pan. Keep the bread pieces closely to each other and make a round shape with the bread slices. Fill all the gaps with bread pieces and should look like a pan cake. You can cut the bread slices to fill the gaps.  Then spread the chicken fillings over this bread layer evenly.
  • If you are much worried about the flame, you can now off the  flame.
  • After that , close this mixture with the bread slices again by dipping the bread slices in egg batter (the same process) .  Pour the  excess egg  batter all over the bread.
  • Decorate with cashews ,Almond and chopped coriander .
  • And now turn on the flame and Cook in a low flame.
  • Flip the pola / cake after few minutes to another greased hot fry pan and then cook the other side.
  • When done, off the flame and transfer to a bowl. 
  • Once cooled, cut into desired shapes and serve .
