EASY DESSERT RECIPE - SWEET VERMICELLI KESARI / SEMIYA KESARI





INGREDIENTS


Vermicelli / Semiya                      -1 cup
Sugar                        -4 tbsp ( or as required)
Milk                          - half cup
Milk maid( optional)-3 tbsp
Banana                    - 1 (finely cubed) 
Ghee
Nuts

PREPARATION

  • Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a nonstick frying pan and fry the bananas till golden brown. Keep it aside.
  • In the same pan , add 1 tbsp of ghee and fry the vermicelli / semiya for few seconds.
  •  By the time, boil half cup of milk with 1 cup of water in another pot.
  • Pour this hot milk to the fried semiya and cook well, stirring continuously
  • When the vermicelli is half done, add the milk maid and sugar.
  • When it becomes thick and all the moisture evaporates and leaves from the sides of the pan,  switch off the flame .
  • Next step is  assembling for that take a bowl and spread some ghee in it.
  • Drop the cooked  vermicelli  in the bowl and with the back of a spoon, gently press it and spread evenly.
  • Decorate with some fried banana and nuts .
