So here am sharing something different for my viewers today. I knew Ayeshas kitchen viewers are eagerly waiting for my routine vlogs and weekend vlogs as many of them had requested me to share the same. So I thought of sharing a weekend vlog with my friends in Umm al quwain, UAE.

All i think about when am with my friends is having some fun time. We all love to go out for friends gathering or small meetups with our friends just  like hanging out, munching snacks, watching movies, having lots and lots of fun etc. So I warn this is not a recipe video but a vlog with my friends. Especially when we are away from our hometown, we require such gatherings to relieve our work stress and homesickness.

Am not a full time vlogger, but when I fly to my hometown (kerala) for vacation i thought of sharing some vlogs from kerala with my viewers.  But I couldn't. Because recently many of my viewers requested me to change my language, which is malayalam ( my mother tongue). As a malayalam food vlogger and a Kerala vlogger it's fine to share authentic kerala recipes in malayalam only rather than in English. Right?. Moreover i feel very comfortable  in my mother tongue.

Other than cooking I love painting, makes DIY crafts , gardening etc. But I missed all these passions these days because I didn't get enough time to do things which i love doing.   Blogging and  vlogging changed me a lot. I have to spent more time in editing and some other blogging works. I know this weekend vlog is not edited to the perfect. Though it's never like what I expected, I somehow managed to do a vlog with my friends. Yah..it's always interesting to see  others routine vlog  and watching how beautifully they organize their day.  So as a part of my vlogging, am joining my friends ( in um Al quwain, UAE) so that there will be lots of fun, I guess. Such friends gatherings helps us to learn from each other and share our ideas. Really blessed to have such lovely group of ladies in my life. Enjoyed everyones dishes ( snacks and sweets) of different tastes and variety Kerala dishes. As a malayalam youtuber and a cooking vlogger, its great to have such lovely opportunities. CARROT PUDDING - EASY AND PERFECT PARTY PUDDING

YUMMY CARROT PUDDING

Carrot Pudding is one of  our favorite pudding recipes which is very creamy in texture and looks very attractive. The fine orange color of this pudding makes this pudding very special especially when served as a party dessert or party pudding. Like tender coconut pudding, carrot pudding is a common pudding or dessert for any party or any function. The simplicity of this carrot pudding makes us additive. Iam sure you will crave for this pudding. Here am adding raw carrot paste ti the milk instead of cooked carrot which really makes this pudding very special. Do try this easy and simple pudding recipe and drop your feedback. Here is the recipe showing how to make perfect carrot pudding or yummy carrot pudding.

INGREDIENTS

Carrot   - 1 cup, chopped or sliced
Milk   - 2 cup
Grated or scraped coconut - quarter a cup
Chinagrass - 8 gms
Condensed milk - half a cup
Sugar - one third of a cup or more 

For decoration
Sweet coconut mixture
Pistachios powdered

PREPARATION

  • Blend carrot chopped along with a little water in a blender until smooth thick paste. Set this aside.
  • Melt the chinagrass along with some water over a low flame until it melts to a clear liquid.
  • Meanwhile boil the milk in a pan. Once it starts to boil, add sugar and condensed milk.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • To this add the fine carrot paste and mix well.
  • Then add the scraped coconut and mix.
  • Finally add the melted chinagrass through a strainer and mix well. 
  • Heat it for a minute. Do not boil after adding melted chinagrass.
  • Remove from flame and immediately transfer it to the pudding tray. 
  • Once cooled slightly, keep it in the refrigerator to set. It will take 3 to 4 hours to set.
  • Once set, decorate the pudding and serve.

SIMPLE MILK PUDDING - THE EASIEST MILK PUDDING IN 3 FLAVORS

SIMPLE AND EASY  MILK PUDDING 

Hi foodies, welcome back to Ayesha' s kitchen. Many of my viewers are requested for a very easy and simple pudding recipe with handy ingredients. Pudding recipes or desserts recipes are my all time favorite recipes which I love to experiment with. I am rushing to share my innovative and yummy pudding recipes as soon as possible on my viewers request. For setting a pudding, any of these ingredients  are used. Like Chinagrass / agar agar, gelatin, cornflour, custard powder etc. But for a pudding with firm texture, you must add chinagrass or gelatin. Chinagrass or agar agar is the veg substitute for gelatin though veg gelatin is available these days. For making a luxcious pudding, the amount of chinagrass is crucial. Here in this pudding if u use more chinagrass , then you will get a hello texture. For party or any functions, such jello textured pudding is great but taste wise, i prefer firm but creamy puddings. For this simple milk pudding, i have uses different flavored and colored essences like badam essence, strawberry essence, pista essence etc. This yummy pudding is a common pudding recipe especially for any parties or any functions. This pudding looks very attractive and inviting. With very less ingredients you can make luscious pudding without any mess.

INGREDIENTS

Milk        - 2.5 cups ( 1 cup = 250 ml)
Sugar      - quarter a cup
Condensed milk - half a cup 
Pista essence, strawberry essence, badam essence   - few drops 
Chinagrass / agar agar    - 8 gms

For decoration
Pistachios sliced  - few
Almond sliced - few
Chopped glazed cherries - few
Sweet coconut mixture - few

PREPARATION

  • Melt chinagrass or agar agar in a pan along with half a cup of water until it melts to a clear liquid over a medium low flame.
  • Meanwhile, boil milk in a pan. Once it starts to boil, add sugar and condensed milk. Mix well to combine.
  • To this, add the melted chinagrass through a strainer and mix well for a minute. 
  • Transfer this mixture to three equal bowls.
  • Add the different essences to these bowls and mix well.
  • Then pour these mixture immediately to different bowls or trays to set. 
  • Let it cool slightly and then decorate it with pistachios sliced, almond sliced, cherries chopped and sweet coconut mixture. 
  • Keep it in the refrigerator to set. ( For 3 to 4 hours) .
